The Chest Lift or 'Mini Sit Up' is a beginners Pilates exercise. This movement teaches us to find and engage the abdominal muscles. It helps build strength in the core which can then be transferred to achieving more challenging exercises. This sit up exercise also works the 'C' curve in the spine which helps to strengthen the spine by articulating it bone by bone.
