Supine Hip Abduction for Coordination and Stability

This fabulous exercise is brilliant for coordination, stability and understanding how your body sits in the space. Doing these kind of coordination exercises are great for older people as it helps you work both sides of the brain which is beneficial for staving off dementia and Alzheimer’s. It's also great for core stability and strengthening the hips. Please do seek the advice of your consultants if you are recovering from a hip replacement operation as hip abduction is a strong movement so needs caution and guidance.
